Guitar for Songwriters ~ with Brooks Williams

“Guitar For Songwriters” is a guitar workshop for songwriters who would like to develop their guitar playing to enhance their songs. And it’s not too scary! Using your own songs (and maybe one or two I bring to the table!), we will look for ways to add simple but evocative guitar parts that can enhance the musicality of the song. Some techniques include bass runs, hammer-ons, alternating a chord voicing or two, and changing up the rhythm. Bring a song you’d like to energise with a few guitar tricks or play one along with the rest of the group. TAB/chord charts will be provided. This is a hand’s on workshop with lots of playing. And, did I say?, it’s not scary!
